Concessionary Discounts for Full-time Students, Senior Citizens, People with Disabilities and the Minder and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Recipients
Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and the minder and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients. Tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

This Hong Kong version is originated from the “music in motion” production of Xinghai Concert Hall, where music and dance unite in a breathtaking cross-genre performance. Premiering to critical acclaim in Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou last year, the Hong Kong version features renowned cross-disciplinary artist Tsang Man-tung as artistic director, infusing the show with fresh creative energy.
Talented musicians from the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra join forces with local dancers to bring audience a mesmerising performance. The music features contrasting pieces from the Guangzhou version, including Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello and Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. This provides a dynamic backdrop for the dancers, who move fluidly with the music, sometimes becoming the protagonists of an artwork, while at other times appearing as observers, admiring the beauty of the pieces. Music, dance, and imagery intertwine to create a rich audiovisual synergy, compelling the audience to feel within their hearts the combined resonance of each note and dance step.

About the Performer

Tsang Man-tung
An interdisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates theatre, visual arts, music, and arts education. He graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and was awarded the Asian Cultural Council fellowship in 2009. The following year, he served as a research scholar at the Yale School of Drama. He employs a minimalist design approach to achieve spiritual balance and harmony, incorporating the aesthetics of Transcend to the Beyond into his designs. He has received numerous local and international awards for scenography, including the Award for Best Artist (Theatre) at the 2008 Hong Kong Arts Development Awards and the Silver Prize for Set Design at 2017 World Stage Design with the dance drama Storm Clouds.
